The boys have their bball game today and then their NBA draft right after. Us girls didn't really wanna sit around and watch them play ball and then sit around again while they went through their draft. Since the Amurao's had a room the night before over at the Sheraton in Anaheim after their trip to Legoland, us girlies headed on over to enjoy the pool with the kiddos.
Meanwhile, the boys had their bball game. It was the Samoza boys versus Ray, Phil and Geoffrey. There was so much shit talking going on with this game too and the winner would get HUUUGE bragging rights. And I am seriously surprised. The Samoza boys lost by 8. Yeeks. Hopefully no arguments/fights broke out between these boys. Hahahaha.
Back to the girls and kiddos. After we were all swimmed out, we headed over to Din Tai Fung in Costa Mesa for some good eats! The wait time was 45 min to an hour, so we packed the kiddos into the wagon and went a bit of shopping.
Once we finished up eating, we dropped the kiddos off with the boys. We figured since they're just drafting, they'll be able to handle the two kiddos.
And where did we go? Off to a massage! We went to our old spot, Lotus Health Spa, out in Westminster. Since me and An are preggo, we had to obvi get a modified massage. Still, it felt so good and relaxing!

Girlies with Babies Staycation
The boys went out to Vegas for the weekend for Christian's birthday so the girls got together for a little staycation of our own. We stayed at the Hyatt in Newport Beach with the kiddos and hung out at the pool.
Zoë was excited to be in the pool!

Meanwhile, us girls enjoyed some Frosé and pool time with the kiddos.

After pool time, we took the kiddos to the splash zone.

That's where Zoë went water bazooka fun.

We then relaxed in our cabana. The kiddos played with Zoë's play doh sand and ate some snacks while us girlies read books.

After a funfilled day at the pool, we headed back to the hotel so we can all shower before dinner time. That's when Zoë got her birthday present!

They were sandwich pieces made of felt that she shared with Dustin!

We finally headed out for dinner. We went to hit up Fashion Island and ended up at HopDoddy. Of course, while waiting in line Zoë was going a bit stir crazy. Turns out she was just really tired. By the time I orderd our food at the register, I felt her twitch on my shoulder. That meant baby girl was knocked out. Boy was I right.

Bummer, baby girl isn't going to have dinner. At least that's what I thought. I tried to get her comfortable so I can enjoy my food, but she ended up waking up. At least she gets to eat and she wasn't in a bad mood. I got her a grilled cheese burger and fries and then ordered me the Primetime burger, which was American Grass Fed Kobe Beef, Brie, Arugula, Caramelized Onions, Truffle Aioli, HD1 Steak Sauce, Tomato.

And that was our day!
The next morning, we did have free buffet for brunch, which also came with Mimosas!

The buffet was prety damn good and had awesome selections for the kiddos!
And finally, we home and ending our trip with some bubble fun for the kiddos.

Ready for the Pool
We promised Zoë some pool time today since she was begging for it yesterday. We couldn't take her to the pool yesterday because by the time Mama's birthday celebration was over, it was pretty late.
Here she is! All ready to dive into her pool.

Pool Day!
It was kinda hot today, so we thought it be a good day to setup Zoë very first inflatable pool!
While Dada and Papa were setting it up, I got the little cutie ready. Look at our cute bumblebee!

Once shew as already, she couldn't wait to check out her pool. Even if it was no where near ready. Looks like she wanted to inspect and make sure the pool was up to her standards. Lol.

It did get a bit too hot while waiting, so I covered her up with her robe so she wouldn't burn so much.

Guess it was taking too long, so she thought she'd help Papa fill it up.

"Hmm, is this how you do it, Papa?"

"I think the water tempature needs some adjusting."

Finally.. a dip in the pool!

Dada's on lifeguard duty today!

And now... bubbles! Yup, we created a ginormous bubble bath for her.

Looks like Zoë needed a bit of a break from all the fun.

Little girl did have so much fun!

Real World Palm Springs
We finally made it to Palm Dessert! Kinda felt bad that we arrived at Auntie Roma's so late, but she didn't mind at all. Zoë pretty much slept for the whole way, so when we got there, she was WIDE awake! Lol. We all needed to shower and by the time we were ready to sleep it was almost 3:00 am! Zoë was still awake, so we let her watch on the iPhone while me and J slept. Eventually she fell back asleep.
Later in the day, we finally made it over to the homie's rental house. They've been up since way early and have all gone into the pool already. Everyone was pretty much chowing down on food, chit chatting, or napping.
After we grabbed some grub and hung out, we went to get ready for the pool too. We got Zoë all geared up and then Dada decided to do some arm workouts with her. Pwahahahaha.

Jenn and Wren were already chillin in the pool when we got there. When we finally got Zoë in, she kinda freaked out a bit. We opted to start her off without her life vest. Only because I wanted to carry her while in there. Didn't take long for us to put her life vest back on though. Which she hated.. mostly because she didn't like the position her life vest forced her in. It made her lay down on the water and she wanted to be upright so she can gander at her surroundings. She did love splashing around though and hanging out on a few of the floaties.

Eventually, she relaxed and was super chill lying there in her life vest. It was the cutest thing ever! She just lay there.. drifting and singing. Hahaha.
After pool time, we all showered and when we were all so fresh and so clean.. just in time for goodies. I made me a shaved ice bowl and then Dex made me a pho bowl. Yummm!

Meanwhile, Zoë and Penny hung out with Logan for a bit.

For dinner, me, Karen and Tola, took a quick trip out to pick up pizza for the kiddos. Which was perfect! All the kiddos loved it.. some adults too! We even had the delicious acai bowls that Anthony and Karen made. They were so easy to make actually! Costco had frozen acai bags that came in packets as well as mixed berries. You just blend one packet each with 1 banana, then top with sliced bananas, strawberries, granola and honey! Delicious!
Zoë ended up knocking out. Guess the pool time and hanging around wore her out. Penny let her sleep in her bed, which was perf! It was a low leveled air mattress down on the floor. That way, we could leave Zoë in there alone without fearing she'd roll off the bed. She was literally only about 6" off the floor maybe. And look how cozy she looks! Thanks Penny!

Meanwhile, the sun dropped down and mostly everyone headed back into the pool. I was iffy about whether or not I'd go back. In the end, I caved because it looked like so much fun!

The rest of the night was spent chit chatting and hanging out and eventually Zoë woke up crying. She was standing by the door.. much like how Penny woke up earlier in the day, except Penny also had her swim shoes in her hand. These little babies are just too adorable.
Definitely a whole lot fun with the homies in Palm Springs!
