Warm Days Mean Water Play!

It was pretty warm outside today, so Zoë wanted to play with her water table. She got all dressed up in a bathing suit. So cute!

Zoë got a major upgrade! No more playing Dr with dollies. Now she has a real baby to play Dr with. Lol!

Enjoying Some Chocolate Milk

The Gruezos got a bunch of chocolate milk from a local farm, Batista Family Farm, that they wanted to support during these tough times. Nina did a whole drive around to all of the homies' houses to drop a jug off to each of us.

Zoë finally gets to enjoy some of it today. And she really loves it.

Warm Weather... Have a Popsicle

It's a little on the warmer side today, so we got a special treat for Zoë. Got her the good ol' yummy red, white and blue rocket popsicles.

Covid Birthday 2020

Happy birthday to me!
Celebrating Covid style. Which pretty much means, trying to cook a yummy meal at home and celebrating with your Nuclear family only.
So this is 39!

I requested garlic shrimps for my birthday. In reminiscent of my birthday last year; Garlic Shrimp trucks in Hawaii.

Happy Easter!!

What a weird Easter celebration this year. With the Covid lockdown, we couldn't have a typical egg hunt. We couldn't hold it at a public park and getting families and/or friends together is not advisable either. Since we don't really have a front or back yard, we had to settle for an egghunt in the living room.

While Zoë and Jaxon were fast asleep, mommy and daddy got to work assembling and hiding.

Check out Zoë's haul! Jaxon didn't do much but sit back and relax while his sister did all the work. Typical boy. Hahaha.

Now time to open all the eggies while showing her brother eggs and goodies here and there. Some eggs had toys, some had candy and some had disney dollars! Which totally translate into real dollars.

She's definitely happy with her egg hunt haul!

And afterwards, Zoë dove right into the LOL doll outfit pods that we hid as eggs. Although, I think she had more fun with the gel the outfit was contained in.

Meanwhile, Jaxon was tired from all that "hardwork". LOL!

Time for Churros

We're gonna take a stab at making churros from scratch with our hot pot.
Little baker Zoë helped mix up the batter with Dada.

Dada had to help her scoop it into the piping bag.

Now time to dip them in the cinnamon sugar.

Gotta say, they were yummy, but a bit over cooked.

Hanging Out

Jaxon finally got to hang out in their room. He pretty much just laid down with Zoë on her bed. Still cute though!

Eventually he took a nap and stayed with Dada. So me and Zoë took the opportunity to have a play date together.

Zoë's been loving Animal Crossing a whole lot lately. And look how cute! She wants to show it off to her little brother.

Dalgona Hot Cocoa?

With everyone stuck at home, there have been an influx of social media crazes out there. One of the recent ones... Dalgona Coffee.

For that to work though, apparently, you need instant coffee. Trust, it will not work with anything else. And I think it also has to be a particular brand too, but don't quote me on that. Anyhow, I was thinking, hmmm, what about Dalgona Hot Cocoa! Zoë would totally love that.

Here we are, gonna try it out.

We finally got to setup the princess' little bed with her pretty little canopy. She's super in love with it! And check out her pose. Hahahaha.

The Great Caterpillar Race

After morning baby cuddles with Jaxon...

...it was time to make our caterpillars! First, we had Zoë cut out her caterpillar.

Then, she colored it with a cute shades of green and yellow.

She did race with me, but we didn't get any photos of that. Mommy totally lost though! Fun stuff baby girl!
