Pool Party for Mattox and Eli's Birthday

Summer is here and it's time to celebrate Mattox and Eli's birthday! They threw a pool party, which was just what everyone needed to cool off in the heat.

I got in the pool with Zoë first, but then she got used to sitting on a floaty and I wanted a bit of a break, so Jeric took over with her in the pool while she relaxed on a Taco Floaty!

After pool fun and eating food, it was time for the pinata! It was the string pulling kind, so that was nice and easy for the little ones. Zoë went up, but bummer, she didn't pick the right string. Still, there was plenty of candy for all the kiddos when the winning string was finally pulled at the end!


Penny and Zoë also had a lot of fun playing with each other.


They even sat together while they drank their Capri Suns.

Of course, that was before Zoë teased Penny a bit and Penny decided to play with Cara instead. Lol. Eventually they made up though and all was good.

And before we all left, we attempted a kiddo picture, but the boys were goofing around a ton and the girls were totally not having it. LOL

Zoë and Dustin's Pool Day Fun

The girls were getting together to have massages done today. Meanwhile, the guys were going to watch the kiddos. With the weather being crazy hot, we thought they should go swimming.

Pool Day!

It was kinda hot today, so we thought it be a good day to setup Zoë very first inflatable pool!

While Dada and Papa were setting it up, I got the little cutie ready. Look at our cute bumblebee!

Once shew as already, she couldn't wait to check out her pool. Even if it was no where near ready. Looks like she wanted to inspect and make sure the pool was up to her standards. Lol.

It did get a bit too hot while waiting, so I covered her up with her robe so she wouldn't burn so much.

Guess it was taking too long, so she thought she'd help Papa fill it up.

"Hmm, is this how you do it, Papa?"

"I think the water tempature needs some adjusting."

Finally.. a dip in the pool!

Dada's on lifeguard duty today!

And now... bubbles! Yup, we created a ginormous bubble bath for her.



Looks like Zoë needed a bit of a break from all the fun.

Liam & Lucas' 3rd Birthday Swim Party

Headed over to Lake Forest to celebrate Liam & Lucas' 3rd birthday! They had a pool party, but I wasn't aware that they had a kiddie pool that Zoë could actually stand in and I didn't want to get in the pool with her had it been a big pool. So, didn't bring any swim gear. Plus we were meeting up with the Samoza fam bam at the OC Fair later tonight.

When we got to the party, Zoë was handed her goody bag! She was super happy to have that.

For lunch, we had some yummy tacos from a taco man, and then some fried rice and chow mein.

Look what Zoë got in her goodie bag.. a squirt gun!

Bellies full and squirt gun in tow.. time to check out the boys over at the pool!
