Baby Lauron's Shower
An and Geoff had their baby shower today. Since it was November, they had a super cute fall pumpkin themed baby shower. They held it at a venue called Whimsey Pasadena. The decorations were all super cute and in the back "alley" area they had caterers cooking yummy breakfast crepes. They also had a cute photo booth that the Samoza fam bam had tons of fun with!

Maegan and Glend's Baby Shower
Celebrating Maegan and Glend's little baby boy! On the invite, they requested for books instead of cards so that baby boy can enjoy a wonderful book and still have the personal message a card would have, so I had Zoë pick a book and write in it.

Of course, I added the message from me an Jeric to it as well.
The venue was a really nice spot in Irvine. When we got there, we were a little early as they were still setting up. Still they had a good amount of deco already done.
Centerpieces, which had swaddle blankets that matched the main color scheme laid out in the middle with a simple, but beautiful mason jar vase filled with baby's breath.

The dessert table has a sheer, white curtain back drop that had a "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" banner in glittery gold strewed across and "B", "A", "B", "Y" blocks standing upright to the side.

Here are some more closeup shots of all the goodies on the dessert table.

And now the lovely mommy-to-be, with her mom and one of her brothers.

Here's Zoë gretting Baby Padua. So cute!

Now time to eat! Got me a plate full of all the Filipino food yumminess.
And what a great way to end all the family togetherness and celebrating the coming of Baby Padua! Zoë and Daddy and their silly faces.

Surprise Dinner!
Alex and Jonah coordinated such a cute surprise dinner to celebrate Baby Diego, Mommy Gen and Mommy Gen's upcoming birthday!
They had dinner reservations at La Parolaccia Osteria. It's a quaint Italian restaurant over in Long Beach. I had to rush straight over after work so that I could make it there before Alex and Gen arrive, which I totally did.
While waiting for them to arrive, we all just hung out and chatted. We were kinda in the middle of convo when Gen arrived haha. So I missed her facial reaction, but I did see that she was super surprised.
We all perused the menu for awhile and then when our waitress came by and gave us suggestions and told us which dishes were highly rated or restaurant favs, we ALL changed our minds. Hahaha.
I originally wanted the Fettuccine alla Marchigiana or Gnocchi al Gorgonzola Dolce, but ended up with the Bomboni Con Salciccia E Tartufo. The Fettuccine is regular Fettuccine with chicken breast, broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes and the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola Dolce is a potato dumplings dish in a creamy gorgonzola sauce with peas, cherry tomatoes and fresh arugula.
The Bomboni Con Salciccia E Tartufo is one of the restaurants top dishes and it definitely did NOT disappoint. In fact, we did table share and passed around our dishes and everyone else thought it was delicious too. It's basically a rigatoni dish with pancetta, crumbled sausage, pepper, arugula, and shaved black truffle in a pecorino and evoo sauce. Yum-MY! Sorry, no pic, but maybe you can spot it way at the end of our group shot. Haha.

Fun times with everyone! And so glad we got to celebrate Gen and baby Diego.

It was hot as heck, but Zoë wanted to stay outside and play.

Check out the dessrt bar!

And the fun game table.
