Happy Easter!!

What a weird Easter celebration this year. With the Covid lockdown, we couldn't have a typical egg hunt. We couldn't hold it at a public park and getting families and/or friends together is not advisable either. Since we don't really have a front or back yard, we had to settle for an egghunt in the living room.

While Zoë and Jaxon were fast asleep, mommy and daddy got to work assembling and hiding.

Check out Zoë's haul! Jaxon didn't do much but sit back and relax while his sister did all the work. Typical boy. Hahaha.

Now time to open all the eggies while showing her brother eggs and goodies here and there. Some eggs had toys, some had candy and some had disney dollars! Which totally translate into real dollars.

She's definitely happy with her egg hunt haul!

And afterwards, Zoë dove right into the LOL doll outfit pods that we hid as eggs. Although, I think she had more fun with the gel the outfit was contained in.

Meanwhile, Jaxon was tired from all that "hardwork". LOL!

Easter with Homies

We're having another Easter Egg Hunt party today! This one's with the homies.

We had it over at Heritage Park again. Pretty much like how we had it a few years ago, when Zoë couldn't even walk yet. We couldn't get the same spot though, but the early birds were able to snag us a spot with shade and a picnic bench!

When we got there, Wren, Zoë and Penny had fun playing tag. At least it was supposed to be tag, but it ended up being more of Penny and Zoë chasing Wren everywhere. Hahaha. Some of the boys joined in too!


Eventually the girls got tired and decided to chill out on the grass.

Now time for us to "hide" the eggs! Haha.. We pretty much just tossed our eggs out on the grass.

Someone even had these cute eggs!

Meanwhile.. Alyssa thought she could sneak in ahead. Hahaha. Zoë and Wren stayed behind, probably wondering how she got VIP access.

Now time for a pic of all the kiddos... always chaos. Hahaha.

Eventually, we got them all to sit down in a straight line!

And the egg hunt begins!!

After all the hunting.. baby girl and dada went chill on one of the benches.

That's when Zoë gave dada a humungoid smoochies! Melts my heart!

And the day ended with some of the kiddos chillin and enjoying CHEETOS!!

Kamayan Easter Party

For Easter we headed out to Mama's house to enjoy a Kamayan feast!

The spread was delicious and Zoë totally loved that she got to eat with hands!

Afterwards, Easter gifts were given to Zoë and Dustin and they sat together enjoying all their goodies.

Then it was time for the egg hunt! It was pretty much just Zoë and Dustin. Leah also joined, but she was kind enough to let the kiddos go at it for all the eggs. We seriously had like 200+ eggs! Hahaha.

Zoë sure did end up at the best spot too. There were gazillions of eggs around Mama's garden area.

She sure as heck celebrated!

Zoë's Private Easter Egg Hunt

We've decided to keep up with Zoë's very own private Easter Egg hunt. And of course, we decided to shower her with toys more-so than candy since she'll be getting plenty of candy from all of her other Easter Egg hunts. Of course we still added some candy to the mix.

I found these two awesome large eggs at Target awhile ago and just had to get them for her! And then we used her 6 Disney eggs and a few plain ones.

Here's the whole lot ready for hiding!

Jeric found an awesome spot to hide the large golden egg! It freaking looked like a nest! Haha. Giant nest and giant golden egg.. totally Fairytale-ish!

Baby girl had a ton of fun egg hunting!

She even picked up the giant golden egg herself and attempted to fit it in her basket. Hahaha.

Now time to open her eggs and enjoy all her goodies!
