Time for Churros

We're gonna take a stab at making churros from scratch with our hot pot.
Little baker Zoë helped mix up the batter with Dada.

Dada had to help her scoop it into the piping bag.

And here's the little cutie waiting for the oil to heat up.

And in they gooooo!

Now time to dip them in the cinnamon sugar.

Gotta say, they were yummy, but a bit over cooked.

Hitting Up Porto's

Finally checking out Porto's out in Buena Park for the first time. Never wanted to go when it first opened because lines were ridiculously long.

Almost 2 years later and we're here!

Before we made it inside Zoë had fun in front of the ginormous candelabra.

And when we made our way inside, she was instantly drawn to the fluffy, pink frosted, cupcakes!

I was able to peel her face away so that we can get in line.

Although the line was wrapped around a few times, it moved through pretty speedily and we made it to the dessert counters!

And of course, we had to get the baby girl her cupcake. She was a happy camper.

Me and J also tried the cheesy, spicey potato balls, which were so yummy! Definitely gotta come back for these again sometime soon!
