Pumpkin Carving Fun

We've had a hectic couple of weeks, but still wanted to carve a pumpkin for Zoë.

Unfortunately, the weekend didn't work out since we were so busy with moving in and all. That's okay though. We bought her a few pumpkins from Target last night since they were pretty cheap, took them home and are carving them tonight.

Zoë was super excited and she helped a mostly with the beginning process, which was gutting them pumpkins. It was her most favorite part! Hahaha.

And it was I that did the harder part, but only because it involved sharp objects, aka the little saws that come with pumpkin carving kits.

We started off with Pascal from Tangled. There wasn't really a template, but I found a coloring book page that looked like it could work. It totally did!

And then I finished up Rapunzel, but even with the template, without the poker tool, it was much more difficult. I tried my best though.

Disneyland Visit? Sike!

Tried to hit-up Disneyland while it was nice, warm and sunny. Buuuut, that didn't quite work out. Jeric's blocked out today and every Sunday for the rest of the month. Whoopsie!

Oh well, we snacked on some pretzels and then walked around Downtown Disney. Which was pretty cool because we got to see the pumpkins deco'd all around.

And then Zoë was like, "look at the little fishie." It took awhile, but mommy and daddy eventually spotted her fishie swimming among the pumpkins. Baby girl has such wonderful imagination. Can you spot it too?

Baby girl did have a lot of fun hanging on dada's back and then up on his shoulders. Haha. She stayed that way for the entire walk back to the parking structure.

Halloween Work Deco

My co-worker's started decorating their cubes for Halloween and I wanted to too. Buuut, when I went out shopping for deco, I realized I didn't really want to spend a ton. Target had super cute things, but man, they weren't really a bargain. $10 for one cute medium sized pumpin. Yah, no thanks. I did find me a really cute $1 fabric pumpin though. I mean, looks really easy to make myself, except I'd have to buy the stem. Anyways, I bought that. Haha. I figured, oh well, 1 pumpkin is enough.

Anyhow, when I got in this morning, our department area was all decorated! So cool. One of our team members brought extra deco and another decorated all our cubes. Check out the cute deco.

The Pumpkin Is Up!!

The giant pumpkin is finally up in Disneyland, which totally means we've gotta go.

Zoë was excited to see it!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

After Wes' birthday party, we decided to take Zoë to a pumpkin patch for some cute photos. Luckily there was one right in the mall parking lot!

It was small, but just right!



Asked the Zozo monster to try and pick up a huge pumpkin. Haha, she did try too!
