Christmas Night at Home

And now we spend the rest of Christmas at home where Zoë enjoyed opening ALL her gifts! Especially the big one for Mommy and Daddy! The excitement on her face... worth it every time!

Picking Out Daddy's Birthday Card

Took Zoë to Target so that she can pick out a birthday gift for him and a card.

A few days ago, I wanted her to as Jeric what he wanted for his birthday. But she told me that she wanted to buy a surprise toy for him.

Then today, when I picked her up from my mom's, she changed it up a bit and tried to negotiate. She said, "Let's ask Daddy what he wants and buy me a toy instead, how bout that?" LOL! I just had her also get a little something for herself, but still had her pick whatever she wanted for Daddy. Silly thing.

On the way out, we stopped by the card section. Honestly, I totally wasn't thinking about the birthday card until Zoë was like, "Lets get a card for Daddy," when we walked by the card aisle.

I had her go through the birthday card section to pick one out for Jeric and she went straight to the kiddo section. Hahaha.

I told her to pick a card that reminds you of Daddy. She ended up picking a ton! LOL

After reaching 10 cards, I was like, "Ok, that's enough." Then, I held two at a time and had her pick which she liked the most. In the end, it came down to a Toy Story 4 one and a Tangled one. She could not pick her favorite at all. Hahaha. Sooo, we just got both!

We also didn't really have a box for her little present that she got, so I helped her make one. She helped me out by cutting little strips of tape to keep it together.

Once the box was finished, she wanted to decorate it too.

Once it was all done, we hid the present and the cards in my drawer for tomorrow. We also bought a teeny ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins that we hid in the freezer. Our plan was to surprise him with it once it hit midnight.

Zoë the Big Sister

Zoë got a surprise gift from Jeric's co-worker!

She got a cute teddy bear and a book about being a big sister!

No doubt about it, she's gonna be an awesome big sister!

Early Afternoon Presents

Zoë's first early afternoon Christmas present was from Ninong Christian!

She got cute Minnie Mouse kitchen accessories and was super excited to play with them right away.

Christmas w/ Mostajos & Susatios

Celebrated Christmas Eve over with the Mostajos and Sustios. First, we started off with dinner and celebration at Dewi and Scott's.

Then, we headed to Brian & Ivon's so that the kiddos can exchange more gifts. The kiddos were all super excited and wanted to rip into their gifts the moment we started piling them up.

Then, we ended the night with some Catan!

Hello Kitty Cakes

After our fun time in The Bow Room, we were lucky to have the café area pretty empty. We've been told that lines are still typically 2 hours long! So, thank you rain! You helped us out.

Unboxing My Louboutins

Finally taking these bad boys out of the box today! I got them as a Christmas gift and haven't had a moment to wear them yet. Well, since I'm a bridesmaid for Maegan's wedding and the shoes need to be black, I thought it be a perfect time to finally wear them!

I had to unbox them today so that I can wear them with my dress at the alterations place. Need to make sure the dress falls right on my shoes and doesn't drag.

Ninang Liz and Ninong Marky came home from Vegas with gifts for the Zoesters!

Gifts for Mommy

Early Christmas gifts? Nah. Just random gifts for Mommy!

Got all my goodies from Amazon! Top item is my Dirt Devil! Who gets excited for a new vacuum cleaner? I do! Haha. I needed something small for when I needed to do a quick clean up because the alternative would be too much effort. We have a Rainbow vacuum cleaner and it requires filling up a tub with water, attaching it to the motor, vacuuming, dumping the water with all the grossness that got sucked up and then scrubbing it clean with soap. Ain't no Mama got time for that. Bring in the Dirt Devil. Just plug, vacuum, and unplug. With the occasional dumping of the canister. But for small little messes, the dumping of the canister'll be few and far between.

The next fun present for Mommy? Going clockwise, brings you to my Anker Portable Charger. I've been wanting my own portable charger for awhile now. When I went to An's bachelorette party, Liz showed me the one she bought for Marky. She said you can get up to 7 full charges off of it! Holy smokes. So, yes, that's the one I bought me!

Lastly, I've been slowly getting back into working out and I found that running on an open track as far more enjoyable than running on a treadmill. Buuuuut, it was kinda difficult running with my phone when I didn't have pockets. I've been just sticking it inside of my sports bra, but it gets super gross and sweaty. Plus, when I go by myself, I need another place to put my car key. While searching around, I found this, an expandable Nike Waistpack. Fits everything I need for when I hit the tracks on my own, my phone, my car key and my drivers license!

Gotta love Amazon!

Zoë's First Birthday Gift

Ninong Marky and Ninang Liz had to give Zoë her birthday gift early because Liz works on the 12th and might not be able to make it to her birthday party and even if she does, she'll definitely miss out on the present opening.

They got her, her favorite! Peppa Pig! It's a cute little play house for the Peppa Pig figures to play in. They also got her a Leonardo chair! That's totally going to be her new reading/playing chair.
