Jaxon's Getting Shots and Zoë Creeps on Geese

Another Dr visit for little Jaxon and this one includes shots.

Little sister tries to teach him about the shots he's getting.

Aftwards, I thought it would be nice to take them to the little park and pond area at the library nearby. Zoë was excited for this!

She found turtles on this visit and was trying to get really close to them.

Then, she was trying to hide from the Geese because they were a little aggressive.

And here's sleepy head Jaxon who was just soaking in some much needed sun.

A cute photo of just the cute little duckies.

Pretty Princess Zoë up on her throne.

After relaxing on her throne, Zoë was wondering if she could creep up on th Geese.

Baaaaad idea. They totally caught her and started chasing her.

A Trip to the Park

We took a much needed trip to the park today for Zoë. She's been too cooped up at home with us and Jaxon, that a park was the best place for her to go.
Just look how cute she looks and how happy she is!

Park Apparatus Fun

Wren and Cara's birthday party was wrapping up and most of the homies had left already so we were about to head out too.

During the party, Zoë did get to play outside in the park playground, but we wanted her to actually be there for the actual birthday party and celebrate with her friends. So, Jeric promised her she can go later.

Well, it's later! Hahaha. The apparatuses all around the playground were actually pretty neat! Although, she's still small, so we made sure she only stayed around areas she can handle.

None-the-less, she had a blast!

Apparently Daddy needed to jump in on the fun too. Hahaha!

Park Time

Zoë was itching to go to the playground during Reese's birthday party, but I kept telling her that we weren't here for that. Of course, she was really adamant about going there, so I promised we'd go when the party was over.

After singing Happy Birthday to Reese, she got her wish and I took her over to the playground.

It was kinda hard to pry her away from there, so I promised we'd take her to another playground later. And by later, I meant a whole other day, but she didn't have to know that part. Haha.

Meet Me at the Playground...

Zoë has been itching for us to take her to the park for the past few weeks. Buuuut, it's been raining almost every single weekend! Finally, no rain, and a pretty decent day as far as temps go.

So, we took her out and she was beaming with joy!

She even climbed up one of the side ladder things all on her own.

And just had a lot of fun!

She even loved the swing!

Unfortunately, though, we had to leave this park. There was a birthday party and a bunch of kids, mostly bigger than her, flooded the playground. Mama bear was doing her best to keep her anger in check.

Zoë wasn't done yet though, so we decided to drive around to the nearest park. We ended up at one really close to home, but this one was really built for much older kids. There were just too many ways that she could fall off. Soo, daddy went up with her and followed her every where she went; making sure she didn't accidentally fall out and hurt herself.

And, more fun time on the swing. Hahaha, when I pushed her, she decided to throw her head back all the way and sky gaze.

Mommy Zoë Date

We've been cooped up in the house ever since we got sick last week, so I thought we needed a fun date together.

It started out with lunch at Cortina's Italian Market.

The cutie always wants to sit down when she sees a spot.

Zoë and Mommy waiting for our food.

And now, our delicious food. We shared the beef ravioli, which comes with garlic bread.

It was delicious, but nothing special. Honestly, I wanted the pizza, but there's no way we could finish a whole pizza and the only slices that were offered where cheese and pepperoni. No thanks.

We did stop by over at the market after for a scrumptious cannoli.

Zoë totally loved it.

After lunch, we headed to a park to go on slides. Of course, the first park I choose was a fail. That had 0 slides. They did have these weird structures that were great photo ops though.

We ended up at a muuuuch better park after. It had a huge pirate ship! So cute!

She totally enjoyed sliding down the slides and kept saying, "A-Gain!" every time she finished sliding down.

The Long Awaited Homie Get Together

It's practically been a month since us gals originally planned for a get together. Rain, kiddos being sick and everyone's availability made it quite the feat. But, here we are! Finally together, but still missing a few. Yrel, Eric and Alyssa couldn't make it and Gen, Alex and Penny had to bail because poor Penny had such a high fever. She is doing alright now though. Which is really good news. High fevers for our little babies is always worrisome.

Zoë was shy as always with everyone. She did venture away from us though, but she was still analyzing her surroundings and everyone that was there.

While at the park, the gals all sat around together and did some much needed catching up. Some of the kiddos were with us and some where out and about with the guys.

Some of the kiddos (Zoë, Wren and Wes) even ventured through the castle, over by the duckies and ended up by the playground.

It was nice and chill and great to see everyone again! Although, totally missing those that couldn't make it. Can't wait for the next homie gathering!
