Christmas Eve in Palm Dessert

Celebrated Christmas Eve for lunch over in Palm Dessert. Auntie Roma had a fancy setup with delicious eats and provided light up Reindeer ears for everyone. So, after everyone ate, we all hung outside for some group photos.

Here's the best photo that we got. Haha, unfortunately, Christian's face is blocked by Jason's antlers.

Some more photo fun!

After that we went inside and baby girl got to open some of her presents.

When Zoë got done playing with her new toys, she begged Dada to take her outside so she can run around the golf course. Haha, she really loved running up and down the hills over and over and over again.

She finally did tire herself out though and knocked out for the rest of the day.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Work Holiday Party

This year, the company had a super low key Holiday Party. I've heard of their previous ones and they used to go all out and have it at a fancy smancy restaurant out in Laguna Beach. This year though, with all the cutbacks that were highly necessary, they decided to just have Maggiano's catered over at the office. Bummer, considering I had high expectations for a fancier Holiday party, but still, the food was pretty darn delicious.

Yummy piles of bread next to bottles of Sparkling Cider and even some Champagne, which I had a glass of! On my plate I got me a little bit of everything. Fettuccine Alfredo, Taylor Street Baked Ziti, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Piccata and some Salad. I also got Cremé Brûlée for dessert. They also had Mini NY Cheesecakes, Apple Crostadas and little cookies.

I also found out who my Secret Santa was, it was the billing manager Corinna!

The only bummer is they didn't let us off early. After lunch and a video slide show for the company, it was time to finish up work. I sure hope next years party fares better than this.

Disneyland, Oh Disneyland!

Here we are at Disneyland again! But, when are we not. Haha. This was actually a bad day to go because it was unbelievably packed!

Here's Zoë and Dada sitting down while I hold our spot in the line to get on to the tram.

Anyhow, today we came only for one thing, to decorate a Mickey Snowman Cookie! We also thought we might have a chance to meet Santa, but we had plans in a few hours and the Santa line was like 3 hours long. Whatever, on to the cookie!

The Santa Mickey Cookies are so cute! And Zoë had a blast decorating.

Here's Dada helping her out.

Zoë then complained and said, "Zoë do it." So, we let her have at it!

And then we figured out why she wanted to do it herself.. so she can eat the icing and sprinkles while decorating!

And tada! Her cookie's all decorated. Of course, she couldn't wait a second to take a bite! Hahaha, oh Zoë!

Some cute photos in front of the Redwood Creek, Santa's Holiday Visit sign.

Check out the cute Grizzly Bear too! He's decked out in a Holiday Ho Ho Ho Ugly Sweater!

DIY Ornament Wreath

Time to make a little Ornament Wreath!

Just picked up all the supplies from Daiso.

I choose two colors for my wreath, silver and red and totally love how these ornaments have different textures. Although, I'd probably do this without the glitter ones if I ever made another.

So, the process is simple. You take a wire hanger and unwind it and then form it into a circle. Then, take off all the strings and what not on the ornaments and just drop the ornaments using the topper.

Once you have all the ornaments on, just kinda of shake and adjust until it's to your liking.

Now the hard part, find a way to "tie" the end of the hanger together. Then tada.. ornament wreath! No finished product photo, but, you'll see a photo later when I hang it in my cubicle!

Christmas Fun at the Grove

We originally planned on strolling around LA to look at the huge houses deco'd in all their Christmas light glory. Sadly, it looks like this is a thing of the past as none of the freaking houses were lit! So, at the last minute we decided The Grove should be nicely decorated.

Zoë was knocked out in the car and even when we got there and parked she was still knocked out. When we got to all the beautifully lit trees and whatnot, I woke her up. She was stunned to see everything and slightly unhappy. She was a trooper though.

They even had snow falling! How fun!

While walking down we ran into a super cute Santa's Workshop! You can meet Santa in there, but for a fee of course. We just enjoyed the view from the outside.

Then, we ended up over at Dylan's Candy Shop!

Of course Zoë wanted all the candy. Honestly, though, what kid wouldn't? We bought her a few gummies and she was happy!

Gift Exchange Fun

Our work did Elster for our gift exchange and I decided to join. The total we get to spend is $45, but we have to spread it out among 4 gifts, one to give every Friday until our Holiday party.

Today, I came in and found this! $10 for Starbucks. Can't wait to buy me some deliciousness.

Disneyland Fun

Another fun Disneyland trip. But aren't they all? Hahaha.

Just took a cute pic down Main Street.

And then I got this pic of Main Street as well. Really love the balloons!

More Disney Christmas Fun

Right when we got to Disneyland, the fireworks show was about to start so we hung out and found us a spot on Main Street. For the first time in a long time, we got to enjoy the fireworks!

They even updated the flowers to perfectly themed seasonal ones.

Time for some more fun pics in front of the tree. This time, the lights were on!

Was so cool too because Pluto literally sprang up on us. He was strolling around Main St. and pounced on us by the tree. Definitely took Jeric by surprise. Even Zoë was a bit in shock. I tried to capture them both in the moment and then hopped into the picture right after.

We headed over to the castle where I couldn't resist snaps of the gorgeously lit castle.

We had our return time for It's a Small World, since Zoë requested to ride it. While waiting, we hopped on a horsie at King Arthur's Carousel and then Zoë got to enjoy a delicious treat.

And now the stunning lights all over It's a Small World.

We still had a few before our return time would let us in, so Jeric went to the bathroom and me and Zoë went to admire the decorated serpent.

Now time for It's a Small World in full Christmas Decor! I really love all the small details that they added this year. Definitely made the boat ride that much more enjoyable.

Looove Christmas time at Disneyland!
