I'm going to start off this post with how hectic the morning/early afternoon was. We have Kristen's Debut today at 5:00 pm in LA. You would think that's plenty of time to get ready and get the baby ready, right? Wrong. Dead Wrong! But that's all on me. I totally forgot about finding an outfit to wear! And of course, I should've figured it would be formal. It's a Debut, not a regular birthday party. So, I riffled through my dresses in my closet but didn't see anything good enough or anything that would look good on me. That's when I decided I can head over to Target once Jeric's done showering. This was at around 12:00 pm. Still seems like enough time, right? HA!
Anyways, I get to Target and there's nothing! Absolutely nothing! I only ended up with a pair of cute black flats for Zoë, some dress socks for her and flip flops, because she keeps asking for some whenever she sees me or Jeric wearing them.
I get home and I'm like ugh! Because I'm forced to resort to whatever's in my closet. I leave that alone for now and get Zoë ready. I then see if her shoes will fit her well and omg, they don't! Of course, Cat & Jack's size 5 isn't the same as Nike's size 5. The shoe looks so tiny against her feets! I just placed the shoe against the bottom of her feet to check the size and her toes pass the shoe by like almost a few cm. Whelp, looks like that's a fail. Her dress still looked cute though! And with her H&M light pink jacket and a pair of white vans, she was ready to go!
Now for me.. I spent the next hour trying on different dresses! I wasn't sure how formal the event would be, so I ended up with a good ol' lbd! Just threw on my checkered pattern comfy tan and black cardi-ish sweater over and added my pair of grey booties and I was good to go.
Of course, that took forever, and we still had to rush over to Tustin to get our eyebrows done! Oh, and I haven't eaten a thing! So when we were done with our brows, we headed over to McDonald's and while Jeric ran out and grabbed us some food, I had to use that time to put on my make-up.
Ahhhh, so hectic! And we were still late! Only by like 10 minutes, but yah. Late is late. Thankfully, nothing eventful started.
When we arrived we said hi to everyone and Zoë and Dustin gave each other the stare down. That's Papa Eric's fault though. He was teasing Zoë saying he's going to carry Dustin. So Zoë got jealous and ended up not wanting to go to Papa Eric at all. He did end up carrying Dustin after-all. Hence, crazy stare down! Hahaha.

Now on to the party!
The place was really nicely done. Here are some photos around the place...

Our table had some appetizers to keep us from starving. There was a platter of egg rolls, a platter of cheese and grapes on skewers and a platter of pineapple, strawberry and grape skewers. All delicious!
We all also took this time to take fun photos at the photobooth!
After having fun with the photobooth, we all just chatted and hung out while we waited for everything to start. Zoë took this opportunity to run over to the dance floor. She looooves dancing! She had a blast dancing with Dada.

Then, the DJ announced that the program was about to start. Jeric had to haul Zoë off the dance floor as she protested quite loudly! Then, as the DJ faded out the music to announce the first part of the program, Zoë screams out loud, "I WANNA DANCE! I WANNA DANCE!" Hahaha. Perfect timing and the many that heard her giggled at her cute protest.
Anyhow, the party went on and it started with Kristen singing. She has such a lovely voice!

Then came the thank you's and finally the food! Prior to food tables being released though, they called up each table for a photo with the lovely celebrant. This is us! Haha.

The food was delicious. They had thinly sliced pot roast beef, fried chicken, baked salmon, chow mein, rice, veggies and mashed potatoes. Our fav was the roast beef.
Meanwhile, the program went on. There was an awesome mother-daughter dance! At first, everyone thought it was just a regular dance. They slow danced together for an entire song. But then, just when the song ended and we all thought it was going to move on to father-daughter dance, it didn't! All of a sudden a pop dance song hopped on and Ate Len and Kristen did the cutest little number! Girls can dance! Here's the awesome duo afterwards.

Happy 18th Birthday Kristen!
