Daddy and Daughter perused the menu for something good to eat.
Then, while waiting for our delicious meals to make their way over, Zoë and Mommy took turns drawing.
Zoë's dish came out first. Good ol' Mac 'n' Cheese with bacon on the side. We weren't sure if she'd like bacon, since she didn't the few times we've ordered it with Mac 'n' Cheese before. But, she actually liked it! She had fun sprinkling bacon all over too.
Which totally ended up with her almost dumping it all on top.
Yummm!
Jeric ordered himself the Tartufo pizza (Mozzarella, fontina, truffle pecorino, crème fraîche, black truffle mushroom pâté & soft cooked egg).
And I got myself the Trenne (Pan sautéed trenne pasta, braised beef rib, Tuscan black kale, caramelized onions & shaved Parmigiano Reggiano).
"Ma chere Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride
And greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight
And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair
As the dining room proudly presents
Your dinner!"
And now, DESSERT!
They're known for macarons of course...
Here's Zoë with Daddy picking which shade of pink she wanted to devour.
We ended up with a strawberry macaron, salted caramel macaron and a beignet.
