J left me in charge of ordering, so here's what I ordered (clock-wise starting with top left): pork and shrimp siomai, pork buns, cheong fan w/ shrimp (rolled rice noodles), fried shrimp balls, and egg tart.
Everything but the rolled rice noodles was super delicious, but dang, everything was expensive. I think what really made the order expensive though, were the poke buns. They're called poke buns, because you're supposed to poke them and have the custard gush out. Haha. Cute and delicious!
We didn't poke them though, because I'm sure that would create a whirl of mess. Haha. Zoë sure did enjoy taking it's eyes off though. Lol!
Now, to the beach! Which also means, sunscreen for Zoë. Hahaha.
It was hot. And sunny! But a mile away from the beach and the sun disappears through a layer of fog. What? Fog? At 2! Hmm.. but it still feels hot in the car. Let's go anyways.
We walk out and omg. It's so cold! Yup!! Because the temp dropped from 80 to 60! Dang! 20 degree difference from HB to Anaheim! We still tried to venture out because we didn't want a wasted trip though.
We got to the sand and Zoë said down.. and then she totally wanted up, up, up! She's not down with that sand texture against her feet!
We got down to the shoreline and Zoë was cold. She shivered twice and when J asked if she was cold she said yah! Guess we head back home.
Oh well, guess we must wait for it to not be so cold at night/early morning, and it would probably be much better over at the beach.
