Strolling SD for J's Birthday

We wanted to stroll around SD for J's birthday, but on the way there, we stopped at the Puesto in Irvine for some lunch.

Zoë was def dressed for the occasion.


Zoë ordered for the whole table! Hahaha.

Me and J both got the three taco deal for $15 with only a slight variation in our tacos. Sadly though, this combo didn't have the delicious octopus tacos like they did at the SD location. Boo! I was totally looking forward to getting all three of them like so. What a bummer. Oh well, ended up with the carne asada, their special chicken taco and a fish taco. Not bad, but not as great as the octopus tacos!

Now off to SD for Extraordinary Desserts!

When we got there it was still pretty sunny so we decided to stroll around before heading into Extraordinary Desserts.

We made it over to Ghirardelli and then headed on back because it was pretty chilly and for some reason Gaslamp didn't look like it used to.

On the way back, ran into this cool tiled wall and tried to get a snap of Zoë, but she was moving around too much. So, I settle for Zoë and Dada. I mean, it is Dada's bday celebration after all.

And finally.. DESSERT!

Happy Birthday Dada!

We ordered the Shangri-la Cake and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. I also ordered some of their Kona Coffee, but I needed tons more creamer. Hahaha. I did end up taking half the coffee to go and asked for another cup of creamer for it, which was a smart idea for that drive home!

J's Finished Tattoo

J's tattoo is finally finished and I'm totally loving every bit of it. His tattoo has a wonderful story, and the newest addition is a piece especially for me and Zoë. He incorporated my favorite flower, Peonies, and then added a little turtle with a symbol for Zoë on top that has a lot of protection symbols because she's our precious baby that we must protect.

Tat Visit

J went for some tat work today, as it was Hene's only opening within a few weeks. We came to visit again and Dada and Daughter had fun flexin.

The first visit was all outlining and today's was actual details. Lookin' pretty good.

Getting Mo Ink Done

Jeric's been wanting to update the ink on his arm for quite some time. He definitely wanted to fill in the rest of his arm as well as go a bit lower. Now's a good time since we have baby Zoë. He can add something representing her. Today's his first session and me and Zoë dropped by to take a look.
