Our Little Ballerina

Took Zoë to her very first ballet class. We got her the cutest outfit and mommy attempted to get her hair up in a bun.

And here are a few photos mommy was able to sneak in while she was in class. The classroom didn't have much of a viewing area for parents. All we had was a small rectangle cut out of the door. Still, it worked!

After her class, we hung out at Papa & Lola's house, where the little cutie went to pick some flowers growing from the grass weeds.

We've Got Sprouts!

It's only been a few days since Zoë first planted her seeds and ready we've begun to see sprouts. Zoë was so happy and excited. Now, we just gotta do a good job and keep it going.

Zoë, the Witto Gardner

I've had some flower seeds that have been sitting on my dresser for ages now. Zoë has always been curious about then, but we never did anything about it. Recently, though, Jason got her some Disney seeds as a random gift. That sparked her interest and she's been dying to plant them all.

Since then, I've gathered some random items here and there to try and build her a mini Garden Basket. And today, we have everything all set, so time to garden!

First things first, pack the garden baskets with soil.

Next, Zoë sprinkled the seeds randomly over the soil. I didn't quite capture that moment in action, but here she is after she finished.

Now she's ready to give them some good ol' H2O.

Tada! Now we just wait for them to sprout!

We also wanted to place the mini garden baskets in an area that got good sunlight.

Roses Are Red, Yes That's True...

I'm not really a fan, unless they're from you! Haha. My single red rose from the hubsters.

And at work today, I indulged on tons of sweets that I could not resist.

Valentine's Day donut, cupcake, and cookies.

And when we got home, Zoë got a surprise too! She got chocolates from Ninang Liz and Ninong Marky!

Dainty Dead Dandelions

Zoë is as much in love with dead Dandelions as I am! For being dead, they're pretty magical!

Here's the cutie enjoying some around the yard.

She tried to blow them, but was pretty unsuccessful. Haha. That's ok though, Mommy surely helped her out and the little feathery segments floated all around us.

Family Fun Day

Having some family fun today. Since I had an appointment to take my car in for servicing, we decided to hang around Costa Mesa.

First stop was some delicious lunch at Raising Canes.

Check out the little cheese head. So happy for her french fries.

Afterwards, we headed to South Coast and walked around a bit. They had these cute hipppo's right when we got in. They were really colorful and super cute.

Meanwhile, J headed up to Adidas to exchange something. When we went up there, I majorly got side tracked. They totally had the entire floor area covered from head to toe in plants! They basically turned the mall area into a convention for plants.

The first area was loaded with bonsai trees. Here are some of my favs.

They also had rows and rows of succi's.

They even had a ton of air plants and I was totally tempted to buy me one, but I second guessed myself since the last one I had doesn't seem to be fairing well.

Another cool area was a booth that had chopped pieces of different hibiscus branches and a few other exotic flowers. I would totally have gotten these too if we had our own house to grow them in. So pretty!

The prettiest ones, in my opinion, are Waimea, Indonesian Rainbow, and Mango Blush.

Easter Spring Plant Update

Check out the growth progress on my little plant! Looks like the multitude of seeds didn't hinder it's growth.

Loove how the little leaves are starting to sprout.

Spring Time Blooms

It's spring and thanks to good ol' Target, I've decided to try and grow myself a flower from a itty bitty seedling. Mostly because the flower pot was so freaking cute!

Don't you agree? It's for Easter. A little purple baby chick.

The little flower set comes with this growth pellet. It's about the size of a few quarters stacked together.

The directions tell you to add a tsp or tbsp of water to it and I wish I was prepared to how fast it would react because I wanted to either time-lapse it or at least let Zoë watch it. Oh well. Too late for that. This is how big it grows.

You start of by placing 3/4ths of the soil into your pot.

I kind of messed up the next part because I didn't have the full directions on-hand. But, you're supposed to only select five of these teeny tiny seeds and place them into the pot.

I let Zoë take a look at the little seeds before topping it off with the rest of the soil.

Tada! Seeds ready to grow!

I hope they don't die because it's super crowded. There had to be like 30 seeds in the packet. Oh well!
