Another Quick Trip to Disneyland

Zoë's been really into Disneyland since I took her for the announcement photo and has been asking us to take her. Since Jeric's pass is blocked out all summer long, it really depends on when I can take her. Looks like today's a good day for us!

This time, Zoë requested to ride Storybook Land.

It was a nice relaxing boat ride and she enjoyed it. She kept pointing out to houses she knew. So cute!

Mommy wanted another relaxing ride and one that would cool us off from the hot hot heat, so It's a Small World it is! Zoë was definitely chill! haha. She stretched her feet out on the bench and laid against me. Hahaha.

By the time we finished the two rides and walked around a bit, the sun went down and it became crowded down Main St. We were about to head home, but Zoë got real hungry. I decided to get her the kiddo Mac N Cheese meal from Jolly Holiday Bakery. By the time we got her food, Main St was jam packed! We didn't realize that today was the first day that they had the Electric Parade come back! Zoë actually wanted to see it, but there was just no spot that we could have her stroller parked and she'd have a good view. So, I promised her we'd watch it next time for sure.

Instead, we headed over to the Main Street Cinema spot where they played old school Mickey cartoons. Zoë hung out there and ate her food. It was a perfect spot since no one was in here! We had all the benches to ourselves!

Once she finished eating and the Electric Parade was over, we ran out and went home before the fireworks ended. Cause then, the exits and lines for the trams will be cray cray.

All in all, not a bad day at Disneyland!

Disneyland for Our Announcement Pic

Finally getting around to letting the world know we have baby# 2 on the way. I was looking for a cute way to announce that involved Disney of course and was able to re-create a similar post I've seen on the net.

So I took Zoë to Disneyland and got to shooting our pic! What do you think?

Super cute right!?

Anyhow, since we were already at Disneyland, of course we had to make a day out of it!

Here we are on the Jungle Cruise

After the Jungle Cruise, we heard that the parade was about to start and Zoë wanted to watch, so we hung out and found a good front row spot.

Baby girl was definitely happy and took Pluto out to watch with her!

Afterwards, we went to meet up Jeric in Downtown Disney. He just walked around and waited for us since he's blocked out for the summer. On the way to meet him up, Zoë couldn't help but admire one of the Disney fountains. She really loves fountains!

When we finally met up with Jeric, we all were craving something sweet so we hit up Black Tap and finally got to try one of their famous milk shakes!

We got the Churro Choco Taco, which is a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shake with a Vanilla Frosted Rim with Cinnamon Toast Crunch topped with a Choco Taco, two Churros, Whipped Cream, and Dulce de Leche drizzle. Sounds like a lot? Ohhh it was!

We all enjoyed it though, especially Zoë!

Was it worth it? Oh yaaaaah! Of course it eventually became too much sugar for us all, but we certainly killed about 90% of it.

Another Mommy Zoë Disney Date

With Daddy out of town, me and Zoë decided to hit Disneyland two days in a row! Plus, it's May the 4th be with you. Which is also why our first stop was Tomorrowland. I wanted to see if they were doing anything special for today.

I didn't notice any Storm Troopers walking around, but we did see that Captain Phasma was over at the Tomorrowland Terrace.

He was picking people out of the crowd that gathered so that he can interrogate them. Lol. You do get to take a photo with him afterwards. I tried to get Zoë to stand up in front so she can get picked, but she was scared. Hahaha. She didn't wanna do it and wanted to leave.

I decided to take her to the Fantasy Faire area to lighten up her mood. We watched the Beauty and the Beast show there and then Zoë got to meet Belle afterwards. She was much happier after that!

I asked her what else she wanted to do. Since the parade was about to start and she heard the announcement, she asked to watch it. She was also hungry and I had bought McDonald's for us. So, we plopped down at any empty spot along the parade route and ate while we waited for the parade to start.

Then, we both enjoyed the parade. When Ariel came out, Zoë was so eager to show her mermaid doll. So cute!

And of course, she was excited to wave out all the rest of the princesses.

After the parade, we headed over to grab ice cream to cool us off on this hot day. I let Zoë pick the flavor and she decided on chocolate with sprinkles. Yum!

And to end the day, a fun ride on King Arthur's Carousel.

Mommy Daughter Disney Date

Since I'll be blocked out from Disney soon and me and Zoë would otherwise just be hanging doing nothing at home, I decided to take the little nugget to Disneyland.

Before we left, I braided her hair and wanted to send Daddy a picture. So, she poses... like this!

Haha. That's the "But I'm innocent, could do nothing wrong" look.

Don't know what happened when we got to Disneyland though because I had to super persuade her to pose for pictures in front of the castle. They were aite.

By the way. It was probably a bad idea to go to Disneyland today. Seeing how every single pass except the highest one would be blocked out for the next few weeks, everyone and there mom was there! It was so bad, especially near the castle. The line to have pictures taken with the photopass people stretched on both sides. On one side, the line literally went AAAALLLL the way down to the turkey leg cart! I didn't quite see how far down the other side's line went, but I'm assuming just as far. INSANE! Still, we stayed and just strayed as far away from the super crowded areas as much as possible.

It's been awhile since Zoë's seen the Mickey's Magical Map show and I don't think she remembers it too well from the last time, so I wanted to take her there first. We waitied in the line that formed in front of the entrance, which was a good thing. That meant we had a really good chance for great seats! I mean, we didn't have front and center, but that's okay. You had to be first in line for that. Still, we got a seat on the right-hand side and were right on the aisle. With the angle it was towards the stage, there was no way that someone would block Zoë at all! So I'd say these seats were just as good as front and center.

Here's Mickey for the opening song.

And here's a few of the princesses for my FAVORITE part, which is also Zoë's!

After the show, we went straight over to It's a Small World since I had a line return time for it.

We then had a HUGE scare! I thought someone accidentally took our stroller! Oh noo!! I seriously walked up and down the rows of strollers at the parking locations, even went over to Mickey's Magical Map's stroller parking area and couldn't find it. I was seriously panicking. Luckily one of the workers helped me look. For awhile she couldn't find it either. I was now starting to get pissed because if they just moved strollers over a little bit rather than moving them waaaay over somewhere else, we wouldn't have this issue. I mean, we were seriously only gone for as long as the actual ride time since we basically breezed through the "Fast-Pass" line. Anyways, still couldn't find it for a few more minutes. She was about to have me go file a report for the lost stroller when she found it! It was all the on the far end of the rows and behind a behemoth of a stroller. No wonder we couldn't find it for so long! It's a itty bitty umbrella stroller! Thankfully it was found though because Mommy doesn't want to have to carry Zoë all the way out of the park and through the parking structure to go home. Plus, her blankie was there and it was starting to get chilly.

With the stroller found, we can now enjoy the rest of our night. Next up... Dumbo! Always a Zoë favorite!

We were both pretty hungry after, so we got ourselves a warm bread bowl of clam chowder!

And lastly, on the way out, a quick Minnie Mouse hug!

Until next year Disney!

Daughter Disney Date

Taking the little one to Disneyland. Jeric's blocked out so it's just me and her.

I let her pick all the rides and she choose Alice in Wonderland and then Teacups.

We then walked towards Buzz Lightyear because she wanted to ride that last. On the way there we stumbled upon the Pixar Fest Dance Party! And who was there getting their grooves on? Russel and Doug!

I tried to get Zoë to dance with the or, at the very least take a pic with them. For some reason though, she was terrified of them. Whelp a selfie will have to do. Also didn't get a chance to sneak a pic of Doug. Too many peeps.

Before we got out of the park though, she totally knocked out.

That was kinda tough because I had to carry her, plus both of our backpacks and the stroller. Yeeks!

Daughter Disney Date

Had a fun Disney date with the little one. All we really did was take some photos with the characters donned in their Halloween gear. Them lines are no joke. Hahaha.

We did try to ride The Little Mermaid, but it was broken down. Bummer. That was the only ride she wanted to go on. Oh well, time to go home.
