Foodie Adventures

Headed out to Anaheim Packing District again. This time to try a new chicken sandwich spot, Sweetbird. We've walked by this spot multiple times and finally decided to try it out.

We tried the fried chicken sandwich that came with some freshly made fries. They looked more like potato wedges than fries though. Haha.

The sandwich was alright. Nothing spectacular and most likely a one and done.

Then we had a little photo shoot with Zoë over by the hidden bar.

That Anaheim Packing District Again

Yup, can't get enough of this spot lately. Although, today, Jeric just wanted a Crepe. So he and Zoë shared one together.

I wanted to try something new since Jeric said he was definitely not gonna eat anything other than the crepe. I ended up heading to Georgia's and ordering their fried chicken. The reviews were good and it looked delicious! Got me a combo that has two pieces of fried chicken, mac n cheese and fries.

Verdict? It was aite. Way too oily and fatty. The mac n cheese was bomb tho.

On the way out, we hung out and listened to the music and wanted Zoë to dance. She decided to dance, but also sit on the floor. Oi vey.

Gotta just let her be a kiddo!

DinDin at the Packing House

Heading to good ol' Packing House district to grab some dinner. The place is packed! As it should be for a Friday night.

Jeric had his ushe, poutine from the Kroft. I, on the other hand, had to keep up with the no meats on Friday, so I left the Zoesters with Dada and made my way around to find something meatless and hopefully yummy. Of course, the mac n cheese spot was closed. They ran out of bread, ugh! There were some flatbread sandwiches or crepes, but dang, they were like $13! Tried the ramen spot too, but they closed up shop too. Good geez!

Finally, I ended up with fish and chips from The Chippy Fish & Grill.

The fish was aite. The fish was cooked really well, but it lacked flavor. I seriously had to douse it in the malt vinegar. As for the cajun seasoned fries, those were aite too. I expected more of a bang as far as flavor goes because cajun seasoning is supposed to be explosive.

Anyhow, I eventually made my way back. Jeric ate some of his food, but didn't get to eat too well because he had Zoë. He let me eat though and took Zoë to walk around because she was antsy. Then, he came back and we switched. Hahaha.
