I was pretty hungry and I'm sure Zoë was too, see decided on a dinner date! It was also pretty chilly out, so soup sounded like a good idea. I actually wanted some really good Udon, but dang, we were already closer to home and Yelp had all the best spots back in Costa Mesa. Soooo, settling for Pho Place instead.
While waiting for our food to arrive, Zoë was all smiles and tons of giggles!
They actually had a dish with Udon noodles, so I ordered that as well as the fried egg rolls.
Zoë as excited for food just as much as I was.
And definitely had her eye on the soup!
The egg rolls were as good as any Vietnamese spot, but the soup wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Even though the noodles were thick like Udon, the soup base just wasn't the same. It was still delicious though and Zoë did love it!
