Dinner at Steelcraft

After a fun day at the aquarium, it was time to grab some grub! We were originally planning on boing to the Attic or somewhere else nearby, but then we heard that Ninang Chi, Uncle Alan, Geoff and An were over at Steelcraft, so we all opted to head there.

I just heard of this spot when Nina invited the homies out for one of her events. I missed out on that at the time, but at least now I get to see this new spot for myself. It's basically like a smaller version of Packing House and it's all outdoors.

With lots of food spots to choose from, we ended up selecting Pig Pen Delicacy. The photos off Yelp were intriguing.

While waiting for our food, we hung out on the huge patch of turf where Zoë sat down right in the middle of. She sat there enjoying the view of people, good music, and of course, who she mostly had fun watching, a bunch of little girls tumbling here and there.

Finally... foooood.

I ordered the Mac & Cheese burger and when it came out, I was confused. Haha. I didn't realize that the Mac & Cheese would be battered and fried into the buns. Haha. Verdict: Meh. Total meh. It was way too greasy and just too much. Totally a one and done.

We also ordered the Buffalo Tots. Verdict: Ugh. They toppings were like all gloppy. As if it was in the fridge! Yah, never again.

Jeric ordered the Pulled Pork, but I didn't snap a photo of it. He said his bun was cold. Verdict: Also, never again.

Yah, totally not eating at Pig Pen Delicacy ever again! Oh well, at least the company and atmosphere made up for lack in good food.
