Happy Mother's Day

Going out for a little family din din tonight over at The Attic.

I thought I'd finally give Zoë some cute pig tails. And Dada also gave her a blue lollipop. She was definitely one cute, happy camper.

The piggy tails were absolutely adorable on her. She definitely won't be mistaken for a little boy today!

Having fun while waiting for our food.

For our appetizer, of course we'd totally order the Mac N Cheese with hot Cheetos.

However, since Zoë will be having some, we made sure to put the hot Cheetos on the side.

Dada feeding the witto monkey.

J ordered himself the Braised Short Rib Poutine.

I went ahead and tried something new. I ordered myself the Bison Burger.

The poutine was aite, not as great as we remembered. Probably because the Kroft has a much better poutine. As for my Bison Burger, it could have been great had they not over charred the outside.

And although they weren't as busy as many other restaurants on Mother's Day, the service was horrendously sub-par. Before we got there, I called to see if they took reservations, but they were all booked and said that walk-in wait time would probably be about an hour or so. Still, we went. When we got there and checked-in, wait time dropped to 45 minutes, which was definitely cool with us! Then, after only waiting 15 minutes, they sat us down! We were definitely surprised.

Our waitress also took our orders rather quickly and our food came out quick. It was after that, where things went South. Not once did they come and refill our waters. Then, we had to wait for way too long for boxes and the check. It was so long that Jeric had to carry Zoë to keep her from going ballistic.

Then the boxes came, but the check was nowhere in sight. It seriously took a whole half an hour longer than expected for us to get out of there. None-the-less, dinner was great and the Mac N Cheese was on fire!

Happy Mother's Day!
