It's estimated to drop below 50's today, yet, we still wanted to come and watch the Electric Parade. We were at California Adventure a few days ago for the Lunar Celebration and thought we could make the Electric Parade at Disneyland, but I totally got the times wrong and when we got into Disneyland, the parade had already run more than halfway through. Plus, there was no spot for us to watch it at that would be enjoyable for Zoë. That's why we're going again today and we're going to bear through the chilly winds. At least little Zoë's got her cute Minnie Mouse Pom Pom Beanie.
While making our way over to Disneyland, Zoë kept asking us to let her walk. She'd say down and then say walk. Hahaha. So, Dada let her take a stroll with him and she was so happy.
At one point she totally asked for my hand too. It was too cute and I just had to try and capture it on camera. I was going to ask someone, but instead, we placed the camera on the stroller and took a vid of us. Lol. It works, I guess. The qual sucks though because it's a screen shot of a vid and the vid was taken with the front facing cam.
Once we found a spot for the Electric Parade, me and Zoë went over to fantasy land to put in a return time for a ride. On the way there, she took a stroll in a teacup. Haha. Can't wait tot make her on this ride for real.
I also brought my Ramune Lychee drink with me.
It's basically club soda with a dash of lychee. Jeric didn't like it, but I totally did, which is totally fine by me!
And finally, time for the Electric Parade! Here's all the wonderful shots we took.
Zoë sure did enjoy the entire show. She did get scared though, when the giant head from the Pinocchio part came and then got even more scared when Pete's Dragon came out. Lol, she squished herself into me and hugged for dear life.
It was starting to get even colder, so we wanted to hurry up and ride Peter Pan, but instead, we ended up at Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, which was Zoë's first time. The line was only 5 minutes too! Surprisingly, she didn't get that scared in the ride either. We thought she would because the ride was full of darkness and hell fire. Lol.
Afterwards, we were supposed to hit up Peter Pan since we had a return time, but it turns out that there were tons of people in the return time line because the ride broke down earlier. We decided to skip it and maybe head over to Pinocchio. Funny thing, we totally ran into my cousin, Sally! How crazy, right? Especially with how many people there were. She was there with her two boys and her brother-in-law. They were on their way out though and we were going to attempt to get into the Pinocchio line, so we didn't chit chat for too long.
Well, the line for Pinocchio was too long and it was getting colder and colder, so we decided it was time to hightail it outta there.
