Although we left fairly early, we didn't get to check into the park until sometime after 10:00 am. The main road to the Disneyland parking structure was blocked off and they sent us on a detour, which had pretty good signage to start, but in the end, we totally got lost and went the wrong way. We ended up in Cast Member parking and had to ask the guy to let us in so that we can turn around and make our way to the right spot. Then, we had to board a bus that would take us over to the Disneyland ticket booths. The security check line was pretty dang long too. Overall, it just looked super crowded. Which makes total sense because this is the first day that all annual passes are allowed back in. Plus folks are still on vacation.
We finally met up with Cookie and he walked them in. After he left, we took our first picture over at the entrance.
The babies totally don't look happy. Lol. Either that or the sun's in their faces.
We were going to wait for Ray's cousin and her daughter to arrive too. Originally, they changed their mind from going because the forecast predicted rain, but then they changed their mind last minute and decided to join us. Since they weren't here yet, we went back out to grab some grub. We thought about Earl of Sandwich, but by the time we made it out of the park, we ended up eating at La Brea Bakery.
We opted for the Express area rather than the Cafe because the wait time wasn't going to help our already delayed trip into Disneyland. Not that it matters for me and Zoë, but everyone else doesn't have annual passes like us.
Me and Denise both wanted the $6 5oz cup of soup, but unfortunately it's a lunch item and it's still before 11:00 am. Ugh! The croissant sandwiches seem pricy so we ended up splitting one. It's likee $10 for a sandwich. Fresh or not, that's too expensive. If you ask me, it's just a simple croissant sandwich that I could totally make at home.
Once we were done eating, we met up with Ray's cousin, Marj (Marjori) and her 10 year old daughter? I think she's 10. Her name's Bella, short for Isabella. They don't have annual passes though, so they had to buy their tickets. Tickets were basically $165 each! Yikes. By the time everyone was all set to go, the little ones were fast asleep in their carriers.
Anyways, Disneyland here we come!!
First stop, a long line and not for a ride, but definitely super necessary. We had to go to City Hall so I can add them to my return time pass. The wait was long, but everyone was a trooper. Besides, it's highly beneficial in the long run.
Once we got our pass all setup, we picked the first ride, It's a Small World. The babies were still asleep as we made our way there. We also had some time for a Christmas Tree pic.
Luckily Dustin woke up before we got on the boat for It's a Small World. Zoë was still knocked out, but she has been on this ride before. She did end up waking up near the end though, which must be the most fabulous or the creepiest way to wake up.
Yep, I'm totally wearing sunglasses like a weirdo. I forgot to switch with my regular glasses, so it was either look like a weirdo with sunglasses indoors or view everything through that gaussian blur filter.
We continued our Disneyland journey with a trip to Toontown. I actually met them there so I can add a return time for Peter Pan. They were all waiting for me near Roger Rabbit. Marg and Bella were taking photos while Ray and Denise were sitting down. Dustin was nursing and Zoë was just hanging out.
Beware of that sitting area near the fountain by Roger Rabbit though. That curb sneaks up on you. Lol! Yes, I totally tripped on it and almost ate it. Luckily I caught myself. Yah, that curb is totally painted white too. Pwahaha. Jeric knows this though. I don't always pay attention when I walk.

We also met Pluto over by the Toontown buildings.
After taking in the sights of Toontown, everyone was a tad hungry. We ended up venturing over to New Orleans and having lunch at the French Market Restaurant. I ordered myself the French dip and got Zoë a toddler meal of mac and cheese, which came with apple sauce and chocolate milk. The food was all delicious. Marj even bought everyone some Mickey Mouse beignets.
After lunch, we headed to go ride Pinocchio, but first, we stopped by for some fun castle pics. Of course, the little ones were sound asleep.
Unlucky for us, Pinocchio broke down when we got there. Tried to add Snow White instead, but turns out that ride was also broken down. We ended up adding a return time for Alice in Wonderland. At least Zoë was awake now. She hung out with Bella, her new little buddy.
Since the return time was an hour away, we ventured into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and took a look around. That's where Zoë learned the art of sword fighting.
Lol. That was after she perused all the princess jewelry and took out a bunch of Pascal dolls.
When we about had enough of the cute shop/salon for girls, we went to make our way to Alice in Wonderland. We passed it up on accident and ended up crossing over the main pathway right when a parade was about to start. When we made it across, they weren't allowing anyone back over, so we decided we might as well watch the parade. Definitely perfect timing, if you ask me because by the time our return time was up, the parade finished.
Me and Zoë ended up riding Alice on our own because if we all tried to fit into one caterpillar, it would be super uncomfy.

Once we were done, everyone was over Disneyland and wanted to head over to Cali Adventure. I must say, this was the most crowded I've EVER seen Disneyland. Check out the trek out of Fantasyland.

At Cali Adventure, we geared for a ride on Monster's Inc, but first, we went into Animation Academy so Bella can meet Anna and Elsa. While they waited in line for that, we hung out in the main theater area and fed our babies. Then, we all rode Monsters Inc.
It was pretty late now, so we decided to hit up Cove Bar for some tasty Lobster Nachos. The wait was pretty darn long though, so while we waited, Marj and Bella went to ride The Little Mermaid. Jeric also just parked in Downtown Disney, so I went out to go meet him. By the time we got back, they were seated.
Now time to dig in! When the dishes were handed to us, I was already disappointed. Look at the Lobster Nachos...
Totally not at all like how they previously were. And after digging in, the taste disappointed as well. There wasn't even as much lobster as they previously had. Let's take a trip down memory lane...

During dinner, I spent some quality time with my godson while Denise spent some time with her goddaughter while we watched World of Color.
After dinner, we had some scrumptious soft serve from the Paradise Pier Ice Cream Company.
We even got to watch World of Color from Cove Bar, which was pretty nice. You don't get the greatest view, but you do have seats!
And that's a wrap!
It was a long exhausting day. I got in a whooping 15,676 steps! Most of them were done with Zoë in her carrier too because I thought it best to go without the stroller. At least until Jeric met up with us.
