It started out with Zoë hanging around at the outdoor mall across the street from El Capitan. She sat on the glittery pretty steps and relaxed for a bit.
Then we had few snaps of her with El Capitan in the background.
I also saw that there was an event going on at the Hello Kitty shop, so we stopped by since we had time to kill before they would let us into the movie. The shop was real cute and I thought Zoë could have a pic with Hello Kitty or come out with freebies, but turns out that in order to enjoy any of the fun crafts or get your picture taken and whatnot, you had to buy something and it had to be over specific dollar amounts. No thanks mang! Oh well, at least we got a few shots with the pretty murals.
Now time for the movie!
After crossing the street and getting to the El Capitan we saw that the doors weren't open yet and we had to wait in line. It was really hot outside, so while Jeric waited in line me and Zoë hung out at Ghiradeli for a bit.
Right in front of Ghiradeli where some cute walk of fame stars that I wanted Zoë to take pics with.
Finally we met up with Jeric as the line slowly moved ahead and we got to the entrance where Zoë took a pic with one of the huge movie posters and on the red carpet.
Once we got inside, Jeric headed over to the concessions stand to grab us snacks. Meanwhile I grabbed some shots of Zoë in front of the huge Toy Story 4 displays.
Finally seated, I wanted to grab a shot of Zoë from our seats, but she wasn't having it. Hahaha.
She really just wanted to sit in her seat and enjoy the view.
And yey! Jeric brought our snacks!
Before the movie, a band came out and played some enjoyable Disney songs and Woody and Buzz even made an appearance!
Nothing as grand as when we came out for Toy Story 3 with the homies back in the day, but still awesome enough for Zoë.
Then the lights dimmed and a beautiful stage/curtain display appeared.
And it was movie time!
Zoë had a blast and enjoyed the movie, that was up until the last half hour. Then she got a little antsy and also got a little loud here and there. Still, it was fun for all of us and we were glad we were finally able to take her to a movie and have the whole theater experience.
