Mommy Daughter Disney Date

We have to work Saturdays for work now. And in order to keep us from having 8 hours OT in a week, we have to take off a day of the week within the same week we work Saturday. Well, next Saturday is my day, so I took today off. Three day weekend!

Since we have the whole day I thought we should hit up Disneyland!

When we got there we were going to take a pic with Donald Duck, but then, Chip and Dale started walking by with a small line of people behind them. I quickly left the line with Zoë to join the Chip and Dale line. They all walked behind Donald Duck and we followed. Of course, right when we walked behind Donald, he decides to backup and backups into us and wobbles a bit. He got PISSED! Which was funny at first. I thought it was hilarious because he was quacking at us angrily. Thumbs up for being in character.

Buuuuut then, this happens. We say sorry and walk away and a kid's autograph book comes flying at us. It grazed my arm. I was like, holy crap. I was so shocked and stunned. The cast member was like, it was just an accident. Uhh, yah right! Donald came over and started petting my head. I was so stunned that I just turned and walked away and went over to the Chip and Dale line.

Then, while in line, I was like, what the hell? Did that just happen? He's lucky the book didn't hit Zoë! None-the-less, I didn't want to ruin our day, so I just.. Let it gooooo.. Let it goooo.. LOL!

Zoë totally didn't want to take a character pic. She was scared! Ahhh, it's starting. She's fearing the characters. Still got a pic. It was just with me in it. Hahaha.

When walking out, we even ran into Cruella De Ville and it was an awesome encounter.

Now time to walk around. Of course, we ended up hanging out with real duckies!

Even had little birdies coming around us and letting us get real close.

In the duckie area, which was pretty much in the area you take to get to Fantasy Faire, they had these beautiful pink flowers.

Now time to ride! First up, Dumbo.
