More Shabu Shabs

Today's Dad Samoza's birthday and we're all heading out to House of Shabu Shabu. Since I was already out in Irvine, I just hung out over here after work while someone picked up Zoë from my mom's house.

The plan was to meet at 6:30 pm, but yah, we all know that wasn't going to happen. Especially since it's raining and there's a ton of traffic at this time. That was fine though. I went straight there after work to put my name down. Although, the hostess said that she can't have me sitting until the whole party is here. But, she also said that once the whole party is here, we will be next to sit no matter what. Sounds good! So, I put my name down and headed down the street to Starbucks.

I hung out there for a good amount of time. Thank goodness I had my laptop with me.

Then, they texted me that they were heading over, so I packed up and headed back to the restaurant. Luckily, we only waited about 20 minutes and got spots along the counter. Zoë even got a booster sit that fit perfectly with the chairs!

And now time for food!
