Pineapple Cotton Candy Anyone?

Today's Disney visit was mostly because I wanted to try some of that pineapple cotton candy. It's supposedly limited and be around until April 16th, which is the end of the Food & Wine Fest. So here we are at Disneyland again!

Before we reached the parking lot though, Zoë had fallen asleep. I made the mistake of buying the cotton candy before she woke up too. So I had to carry it around until she woke up. Luckily, I thought of a great way to kill time while Zoë slept and make sure I didn't accidentally squish the cotton candy. We went and watched "It's Tough To Be a Bug!"

Of course, Zoë woke up during the scariest part of the show. Although, nothing seemed to faze her. Not giant Hopper surrounded by fog and menacing uplighting, nor the creepy, huge black widow spiders crawling down from above, or even the deafening, eerie sounds of hornets flying around. Maybe she was still out of it or just not scared. Hahaha. Who knows. But, she's awake now! We can enjoy our pineapple cotton candy!

At first bite, your taste buds are infused with the delicious flavors of pineapple. It was surprising actually. I was really curious to see if it would taste like it or not and it totally hit the mark! Although, if you don't give yourself a good break in between bites, it starts to taste like regular cotton candy. Zoë didn't like it at all at first, but she did eventually warm up to it. Especially when she felt the texture of the cotton candy melt on her tongue. Hahaha. She actually loved that part. She would stick out her tongue and only want me to dab a little on there so she could feel it shrink and then she'd cry out, "A gain. A Gain!" I eventually took a piece out and told her to open her mouth and stuffed it in there. That's when she wanted more because she wanted to actually eat it.

After devouring all the sugary goodness, we headed on out, but as we were walking by Redwood Creek, Zoë wanted to hang out with Kenai and Koda!
