Getting Zoë to Drink Her Milk

Ever since I got laid off, Zoë has digressed and is no longer drinking whole milk. All she wants is mama's milk now. I love it still, but I'm also wanting her to wean. Mommy wants her body back please.

Anyhow, I came up with a great idea. Add chocolate syrup to her milk. Ha! It totally didn't work. You'd think it would though. I mean, girl loves chocolate! Guess chocolate and milk doesn't mix well for her.

A few weeks ago, I hung out with Mama Joan and we got some cupcakes and tea, while we were chatting, she mentioned that I should try chocolate in the milk, which I told her I actually tried. Well, she said try the powdered stuff rather than the syrup. It seems to blend better. She also said strawberry might be a better flavor than chocolate.

Well, yesterday, while out grabbing free boxes at Walmart, I shopped for a few things. Got us toothbrush covers, Talenti Ice Cream and Strawberry Nesquik!

Now it's time to see if it works.

She certainly wanted to drink it!

Of course, after consuming a third of her strawberry milk, she decides it's the perfect time to spit a mouthful out for fun (She's been doing this with water lately. Taking a gulp of water and then spitting it all out and, of course, laughing). After that, she didn't want anymore. I'm going to chalk it up to her being full.
