Free Din Din!

We headed over to IKEA today so I can pick-up my wardrobe. I actually found a really good one too! There was one I wanted that had three doors. Two of the doors opened up to one huge area with a pole to hang clothes and the other door opened to a side area that had adjustable shelves. It was listed at $130 too. Unfortunately, it was discontinued! I was super bummed because everything else that was as big or bigger was way more expensive. Like $400+. Just yesterday, though, I went back to searching again. That's when I found an even better one! It was practically the same design. Three doors with two sections. But this one was so much better because one of the doors had a mirror! Woot woot! This one was $150, but that's okay. Totally worth it.

Anyhow, we're here at IKEA to go find it and a lamp.

While walking around, we saw signage that offered a free family dinner! The only catch was that you had to dine-in. No take-out. Plus, you had to spend at least $100, which we totally were gonna do anyways.

After finding the location area for my wardrobe, we headed over to the food court and I double checked with the cashier for all the rules and what not. We were thinking maybe it would only be one free meal per $100, but nope, it's for the entire family. Which meant we each can order and it's all free! We even asked if it included drinks and desserts and it totally does. Basically, anything that you order will be tallied and you pay for the food and the cashier will right the total down on a paper with the receipt attached. You take that down to where you pay for the furniture and they deduct it off of your total. Pretty neat!

Woohoo for free food!

The famous Swedish Meatballs

Dam Cake

Roast Beef

Cream Cake with Marzipan

The food was meh. The Swedish meatballs were nothing like I remembered. The dessert looked good, but it was not as sweet as I liked. The Daim Cake was really meh. Of course, I was kind of expecting it to be like Sans Rival, which is ooey gooey buttery goodness. But Jeric also thought it was meh. The roast beef was tender, but lacked in the flavor department. Lastly, the Cream Cake with Marzipan, it was good, but needed some sugar!

Still though, definitely worth free.99!
