Anyhow, we first hit up Monster's Inc when we got in and then wanted to wait in line for the Disney Jr. Dance Party show so the girls can dance together. On our way to park our strollers, we ran into Mickey! Unfortunately, they said he was in a hurry to catch his ride in the Trolley, so we couldn't stop him for photos.
No worries though. The girls got to wave at him!
While in line Zoë was being super shy and not really sociable and poor Penny just wanted to hang out.
Once the line started moving though, the girls were excited to get in. Buuuut, unfortunately, they stopped the line a few families ahead of us. Apparently, the two shows prior to this one were cancelled, so they had a huge influx of people for this show and we didn't make the cut. Poor Penny. She was very unhappy about that. They did have another show that we could line-up for in 45 minutes though. And Diego needed mommy time anyways so everything worked out. Gen took Diego to the baby room while the rest of us hung out near the line. Apparently, they don't let you line-up until 15 minutes prior to show time. The lady said that it's because that area has a lot of stroller traffic. But, seriously, when we looked at where the strollers were it didn't seem like anyone would take strollers that way. *shrug* Anyhow, after Penny calmed down and Gen and Diego got back, it was time to line up! We went through the line and new we were a shoo-in.
Here we are, ready for the show!
Eventually, Penny left us to go dance with the rest of the kiddos up front. Zoë was too shy and didn't want to go. So they didn't really dance together, but they both enjoyed it!
Next, we wanted to hit up the Little Mermaid ride. Me and Gen kinda got there fast and lost Alex and Gail and when we parked the strollers Judy and Nick from Zootopia walked our way. Penny didn't want to get a photo, but Zoë did.
Then, we all got in line for The Little Mermaid and Zoë finally warmed up to Penny!
And here they were together on the ride with me and Gail.
Afterwards, Gen and Alex had to take Diego to get changed so me and Gail took the girls to the Redwood Creek Trail so they can run around together.
Of course, they take us to one of those net things first. Luckily it was just a small one. You just go up a bit and then turn and go back down.
Then, Penny wanted to go through this crawl space, suspended tube thing.
Zoë was next, but she was scared to got through. At the same time, she kinda wanted to. It took a little coaxing, but eventually she went through.
She did freak out when anyone touch the tubes and made them sway slightly, but she was a trooper and crawled to the finish line.
The girls then took us on the rope things again. But this time, the took us on the ones that went all the way to the top where the suspended bridges were. Yah, that was tiring for me and Gail. So when we finally got to ground level, we swayed them to head to the slides.
Then, Gen, Alex and Diego met up with us. By then the girls were a bit hyper-active, so we took them to the tree trunk area so they can run around.
The parents were a little pooped out by the end of the trail area, so we gave them one more ride. It ended up being Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. And while in line, the girlies were so cute! They were hugging each other.
And here is mommy and Zoë on Mater!
I forgot how fun this ride was! Me and Zoë were squealing, screaming and laughing throughout the whole ride.
Great ride to end Zoë and Penny's Disney date!
