Urgent Visit to the Dr.'s

My mom called me while at work because Zoë's eye was swollen when she woke up. She just woke up from sleeping last night, and she was totally fine before she slept. So we knew that she didn't fall or anything. So, either she's having an allergic reaction to something or she has pink eye. It was also bugging her and she wouldn't let my mom anywhere near her eye.

Soooo, I had to leave work, pick her up and take her to the Doctors.

This is what her left eye looked like when I picked her up.

We had to go to Kaiser over in Huntington Beach because there was no other Kaiser who had availability to see her immediately.

When we got to Kaiser, we were surprised with their peds section. It had a huge play house!

Now time to take all her measurements.

And, yup! Pink eye!

She told us that it's very easy to get. Any public place can have it. All Zoë has to do is touch a surface that someone else who had it touched. And once she rubs her eye, bam, infected.

Time to get meds, head home, and have her rest.
