We drove her over to urgent care and then waited and waited to be seen. Gotta love urgent care, right? Wait times always horrendous.
Turns out it was indeed an allergy breakout. The Dr. was kinda loopy and not all there so it was kinda hard to truly trust his word on anything he said. He was talking about how even though Zoë has had certain foods, it's still possible for to have an allergic reaction if the food item isn't a party of her daily diet. Makes sense, but still. The Dr. was so out of it.
At least by the time we saw the Dr., the majority of Zoë's poofy outbreak had cleared. The Dr. just recommended Baby Benadryl and when we got home, she was totally fine so we decided we can still make it out to Palm Springs.
UPDATE: Monday July 17, 2017
Joan said that it didn't look like a food allergy, most likely something she touched. Well.. found out from my mom that that Friday was the first time she rode on the pony at my brother's house. Yup, most likely the synthetic hairs on the bouncy horse did her in.
