Still Sick!

I had a Dr. appt and apparently he doesn't think I have the flu. He says I just have a very bad cold virus that's been going around. He also said I can't get the flu at this time. What? Yes you can. Just because it's not flu season doesn't mean you can't get it, it just means that it's incapable of spreading as easily as it can during flu season. Which means, it's just not as widespread. But come on, your a Dr. and you seriously said that?? Just gives me more of a reason to have greater distrust in physicians these days.

I notified my work that I can go in after my Dr. appointment, but my manager said to just rest at home and get healthy and come back on Monday.

So that's what I did. I literally slept all weekend long. It was just me and the Zoesters. Sick Mommy and sick baby cuddling under the blankets even though it's hot as hell.
