She found a spot over in Irvine and made reservations for 6 of us at 4:30 pm. It was for the Murder Mystery Manor.
The people who joined were both my brothers, Ivon, me, Rod and Marsha. We also had surprise, last minute joiners! Jeymie and John both came out and they brought their two cute little girls with them. They were allowed in with us, but wow, they totally charged them regular admission. Kind of a rip, if you ask me. I mean, they weren't going to do much. Oh well, on to the fun!
They had rules, which I thought were hilarious, but I'm sure without the rules, some crazy things would be happening and there would probably be a lot of damage to their escape rooms.
Bummer that we couldn't take photos or videos while in the room, but to be honest, it's not like we had the time to. At least I didn't. I was so focused on solving the puzzles that I never once took my phone out, let alone thought of taking it out.
The puzzles were a whole lot of fun to solve and we totally could've made better time, but both me and Marsha had failed on opening the locks. Lol! They even told us beforehand how the locks worked. You need to push them in, not pull. They even had a sample lock to have us test. We seriously could've shaved of 10 minutes. We were quick too for being first timers. And then we got "stuck". Hahaha.
It was definitely a lot of fun and we all totally wanna do one again!
Happy 40th Brian!
