Nina stumbled across an article about the brand new Hello Kitty Grand Café opening at Irvine Spectrum. They've had the pop-up truck there for awhile now, so it's nice to know they're going to have a full fledged café. Anyhow, with this café there's a secret room called The Bow Room. It basically operates as a tea room during the day and a chill bar at night. To have tea time or drink at the bar though, you need to make ressies.
Thankfully Neens was up at 2am when she found the article because when she checked for ressies, they had a lot available. She booked a ressie for 6 ppl STAT! I've tried booking another one for the fambam the morning after she sent us gals the email and couldn't get one! Yah, they filled up fast and only allow for booking a few months ahead.
Well, today's the day we go!!
We started off with dinner over at Capital Seafood first.
We had Kevin, Mark and the kiddos join us as well. So that was a lot of fun. Jeric, Anthony and the kiddos couldn't make it since the drive would be crazy and by the time they'd make it we'd probably be done with dinner and off for drinks!
I was the first one that got to the restaurant so I held a table for all of us. I totally forgot my bag in the car though, so I headed back to the structure to get it. By the time I walked back I heard a bunch of strange crunches all over. Then, I felt it. Huge raindrops! Omg! Was totally not expecting it to rain. And as I waited for the group to meet up, it just kept raining. None-the-less, we all enjoyed our delicious dinner!
And now off to HKC! When we got there we waited a bit and because of the rain there was no line at the café, which means we get to check out all the goodies and the deco.

And then the bathroom! Every gal that walked out of there was pretty much like, sorry, I had to take pictures! They were pretty much apologizing for the wait. Lol.
