I broke the dryer earlier today. I tried to save a bit of time by combining two loads. They weren't full loads, but definitely more than the dryer can handle. I thought, since the dryer size is way bigger than normal that it could handle more clothes. Boy was I wrong and boy did I feel so horrible that I broke it. Anyhow, we were debating on what to do with our loads of wet clothes and ended up deciding that we should go to the laundromat nearby after dinner. We found one that's open pretty late and headed on over.
So here we are at the laundromat. Watching our clothes dry for a whole hour and fifteen minutes.
Thank goodness for cell phones and unlimited internet! I seriously don't know what people did back then without these things. I mean, yes, they're distracting and take a lot away from face-to-face communication, but they're a godsend during times like these. When you'd otherwise be bored out of your mind!
