It was held over at The Lopez's. Our theme was pajamas, so it was warm and comfy for all!
When we got there, most of the kiddos were already playing so I left Zoë to play with them while me and Jeric grabbed some food. She actually did pretty good for the most part, but by the time I was almost done with my plate of food, she started calling for me, so I picked her up and had her eat some delicious food.
Originally, we all planned for some food from LA Brisket and then have some of us bring in desserts, but whoops, none of us realized that they were closed for New Years. Luckily the gals are quick on their feet and we all decided to do it potluck style.
All the food was oh so delish! Tola and Dex came out with Logan too. Very last minute, but we were all glad to finally meet the little guy in person! Bummer though, Eric, Yrel and baby Alyssa couldn't make it.
Before we started with the festivities, we thought we'd get a group picture of all the kiddos. Just trying to get them to all sit together and look at the camera was quite a feat!
We had a fun White Elephant this year. We did ornaments! There was no min/max price either. They could be super cheesy or really elegant, it was really our choice. It was fun, but after I got my skull jacked, the only ones I really wanted were being held by kiddos. Haha. I couldn't do it. I just couldn't bare stealing from one of the kiddos. Hahahaha. In the end, we ended up with this adorable penguin felt ornament!
Now its time for utter chaos! It's time to hand all the kiddos their gifts, which is my absolute favorite part. All the adults are just handing all the kiddos gift after gift as they tear them open right as we hand them over. And then the looks of joy, especially when it's a toy.
And here we all are. All the homies and kiddos, minus Eric, Yrel and Alyssa.
It has also just come to our attention that in the past 3 years we added 9 kiddos! A total of 13 kiddos! They're on their way to outnumbering us. Ahhhhhh!
